Life
The well known and amazingly beautiful Mischa Barton is the daughter of an Irish mother, Nuala and an English father, Paul Marsden Barton, a foreign exchange dealer. Barton has two siblings, younger sister Hania and elder sister Zoe. Barton relocated to New York City when she was just 5 years old and became an accepted citizen of U.S in Los Angeles on 3rd February 2006. Barton pursed her graduation from the Professional Children’s School in Manhattan in 2004. After working in Closing the Ring, at Sir Richard Attenborough’s suggestion Barton attended a short summer course known as Acting Shakespeare in June and July 2006, at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Career
Barton started her acting when she was just 8 years old with the Off Broadway premiere of Slavs! She then also acted in various other Off Broadway productions, and alongside managed to get a main role in James Lapine’s Twelve Dreams at Lincoln Center. Barton initiated her film career with Lawn Dogs that was widely appreciated and won awards at film festivals, globally.
After that, Barton worked in various movies like: The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, St Trinians, and Closing the Ring.
On TV, Barton appeared for the first time in the year 1996 as young Lily Montgomery in All My Children. She was also there in recreation of Bonnie and Clyde. In addition to all this, Barton also appeared as a guest star in eight episodes of the well known TV show Once and Again playing the role of Jessie Sammler’s girlfriend, Katie Singer.
Her other acting experiences consist of an episode of the Fox series Fastlane, the very famous singer, James Blunt’s music video “Goodbye My Lover“, and she also appeared in everybody’s heartthrob Enrique Iglesias’ music video “Addicted”.
